About

THE INNOCENT

ABOUT US

The Innocent are an alternative indie-folk act originally hailing from Oswestry, Shropshire. If you have ever been to Oswestry, you will understand why the majority of their songs are in a minor key.

Their debut album, Lost, was released in late 2019 and included lead single Fireflies along with Thirteen Hysterics, a song featured on the closing credits of indie movie The End of All Things in the same year. Their latest album, The Rapture, which was supported by Arts Council England, was released in May 2021.

They continue to live in Shropshire and North Wales where they enjoy referring to themselves in the third person.

LIVE MUSIC

Based in Shropshire and North Wales, The Innocent are one of the most popular and experienced acoustic acts in the country, covering a wide range of styles and genres, as well as producing their own original music.

When not writing and performing their own music, they can be found putting their own unique spin on classic songs from every genre. As well as regularly performing for private events, their former clients include performances and recordings for the likes of Disney, Radio 5, Ikea and Carnival Cruise Lines.
