The Innocent are an alternative indie-folk act hailing from Oswestry, Shropshire. If you have ever been to Oswestry, you will understand why the majority of their songs are in a minor key.

Their debut album 'Lost' was released in late 2019 and, due to the pandemic, they will be releasing their follow up album, 'The Rapture', before even touring their first. In 2019, their song Thirteen Hysterics was featured on indie movie The End of All Things. The Rapture is due for release in May 2021, and is available to pre-order now.

They continue to live in Shropshire where they enjoy referring to themselves in the third person.

Based in Shropshire and North Wales, The Innocent are one of the most popular and experienced acoustic acts in the country, covering a wide range of styles and genres, as well as producing their own original music.

When not writing and performing their own music, they can be found putting their own unique spin on classic songs from every genre. As well as regularly performing for private events, their former clients include performces and recordings for the likes of Disney, Radio 5, Ikea and Carnival Cruise Lines.
